After your first purchase, you will instantly become a member of the battalion. You will create an account and be assigned a specific rank. After every month of service as a battalion member you will accumulate Battalion Points that can be used for promotions to higher-level ranks - unlocking discounts, special offers, and exclusive giveaways.
